Please note that our session schedule takes into account school holidays and non-working days observed by the DCPS. The session dates provided already include these days, ensuring that students receive the full number of scheduled sessions without interruption.

We have an exciting Spanish After School Program in partnership with Horace Mann Elementary School. With our inclusive and dynamic programs, we foster linguistic proficiency, cultural fluency, and global citizenship.
This is not your average language class! Our dynamic Spanish language learning experience seamlessly integrates music, literature, theater, and art, making the journey both educational and enjoyable. Our program is designed for both children and adults, and it's certified by the Accredited Examination Center for the Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE).
What to expect:
Immersive Spanish language instruction with a focus on proper language skills.
Dive into the rich art, literature, and culture of Spain and Latin America.
Dynamic classes integrating music, literature, theater, and art for an engaging experience.

Flexible options for busy families:
We know that life can be busy, so we've made sure the After School Program offers flexible schedules with options for 1 to 5 days a week and sessions ranging from 1 to 3 hours. We want to make it as easy as possible for our families to participate.

$47 per hour.

Refund Policy & Enrollment Agreement for After-School Program Agreement Policy:
Enrollment Commitment: By enrolling in our after-school program, you commit to participating and engaging in our language learning experience. Resources are allocated, and plans are made based on enrolled students. As such, we have established the following policy to ensure fairness to all parties.
After-School Program Attendance Policy:
No Refunds or Make-Up Classes: Please note that after-school program fees are non-refundable. If a student misses a session, the class will not be rescheduled or refunded. No make-up classes will be offered, regardless of the reason for the absence.
Withdrawal and Refund Requests:
No Refunds for Withdrawals: No refunds will be issued for withdrawals once the after-school program has started. By enrolling, you agree to these terms, and all fees are considered final.
Non-Refundable Fees: All registration, material, and other associated fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Please note that by enrolling in our program, you acknowledge and accept the terms of our refund policy. It is essential to review and understand this policy before enrolling. We encourage you to reach out to our administration if you have any questions or require further clarification.

Isabella and Ferdinand Spanish Academy will close at 6:00 PM at both campuses. It is important that your child is picked up before this time. All children must be picked up by 6:00 PM. Any pickup after 6:00 PM will incur a late fee of $1.00 per minute, per child, to cover the cost of the additional time of the counselors.
Failure to pay the late fee by the following day will result in suspension from the program for the remainder of the school year or until late fees are paid in full. This means that if the fee from the prior day has not been paid, the child will not be allowed to participate in the after-school program the next day.
Families with chronic late pickups may be suspended from using the program. Additionally, if late fees are not paid by the time of re-enrollment for the following school year, the child will not be eligible to re-apply for the program.
