Isabella & Ferdinand Academia de Español is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to teaching students of all ages and is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes en Madrid.
Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ is a non-profit Spanish language academy dedicated to teaching Spanish through cultural experiences. With physical locations in Washington, D.C. and a virtual presence online, our program offers comprehensive language education.
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using www.isabellaandferdinand.org and www.isabellaandferdinand.com website (the “Service”) operated by Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ (“us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

Acceptance of Terms: By accessing and using our website and enrolling in our program, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please refrain from using our website or enrolling in our program.
Program Enrollment: The enrollment process for our program requires providing accurate and complete information. By enrolling, you acknowledge that all the information you provide is true and that you have the legal authority to enroll the student(s) specified.
Payment and Refunds: Payment for our program is required upon enrollment. We accept various forms of payment, as specified during the enrollment process. Refunds are subject to our refund policy.
Refund Policy & Enrollment Agreement Policy:
Enrollment Commitment: By enrolling in our program, you are making a commitment to participate and engage in our language learning experience. We allocate resources and plan accordingly based on the number of enrolled students. Therefore, we have established the following refund policy to ensure fairness to all parties involved.
Online and Private Classes Cancellation Policy:
For online and private classes, any cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Additionally, if a student is a "no-show" and hasn't logged into the class within the first 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the class will be considered forfeited.
Failure to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice or to join the class within the specified time frame will result in the class not being rescheduled and will be considered forfeited.
Withdrawal and Refund Request: If a student wishes to withdraw from our program, a written request must be submitted to our administration via email at info@isabellaandferdinand.org. The request should include the student's name and the reason for withdrawal.
Refund Eligibility: Refunds are subject to the following conditions:
a. Early Withdrawal: If a student withdraws from the program before the start date, a full refund will be issued, excluding any non-refundable registration fees, if applicable.
b. Within the First Week: If a student withdraws within the first week of the program, a partial refund may be considered. The refund amount will be determined based on the number of classes attended and any administrative fees incurred.
c. After the First Week: No refunds will be provided for withdrawals that occur after the first week of the program. The full program fee will be applicable.
Non-Refundable Fees: Registration fees, material fees, and any other non-refundable fees are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
Processing Time: Refund requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 14 business days from the date of the request submission.
Refund Method: Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment whenever possible. However, we reserve the right to refund the amount through an alternative payment method, such as a check or electronic transfer, if deemed necessary.
Exceptional Circumstances: In exceptional cases, such as medical emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, we may consider refund requests outside of the stated policy. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and a decision will be made at the discretion of our administration.
Program Changes and Cancellations: In the event that we need to cancel or modify a program, we will provide alternative options or a full refund to enrolled students.
Additional refund provisions:
· Enrollment agreement terms are contracted specific to each program and are based upon the course duration and schedule.
· For Corporate contracts, terms are made to comply with each specific corporate agreement.
· In the event your account becomes thirty (30) days past due, it may be turned over to a third-party collection agency or referred for legal action. If an account is turned over for collections, you will be responsible for all collection costs and legal fees associated with the collection of the debt. By signing this agreement and by providing Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ with your phone number(s), you agree that Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ has your express, written consent to provide your phone number(s) to third party debt collectors in the event of delinquency on your account. You acknowledge that phone numbers provided to Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ will be used by third-party debt collectors to contact you, should you become delinquent on your account, for the purpose of discussing the delinquency and attempting to collect on the debt.
Please note that by enrolling in our program, you acknowledge and accept the terms of our refund policy. It is essential to review and understand this policy before enrolling. We encourage you to reach out to our administration if you have any questions or require further clarification.
Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, related to our website and program content, belong to Isabella & Ferdinand. You agree not to copy, distribute, or use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
Privacy and Data Protection: We value your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Applicable Law
Our websites are controlled by Isabella & Ferdinand® Academia de Español™ in Washington DC, USA. By using the websites, regardless of where you live or are located in the world, you agree that these Terms of Use and any action related thereto will be governed by the laws of the State of Columbia without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. The exclusive jurisdiction and venue of any action with respect to the subject matter of these Terms of Use will be the state and federal courts located in Washington DC, and each of the parties hereto waives any objection to jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
